The short version
This website sets no cookies and doesn’t track you. The only personal information we get is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email, and we only use it to reply to you.
Who we are
This website is run by Spot On Productions, The Station House, Unit 1, Old Railway Station, North Road, Co Monaghan, H18 DP74. We’re responsible for any personal information you send us through it. You can reach us at info@spotonproductions.ie or on 087 344 8105.
What we collect, and why
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the type of project and your message. We use these to reply to your enquiry and, if you’d like, to talk about working together. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps you’ve asked for before we agree a project.
When you email or call us, we receive whatever you send or tell us, and use it the same way.
We keep enquiries for up to two years, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep project records for as long as we need them for the work and our legal and accounting obligations. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
None. This site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. When you close the “no cookies” notice, your browser remembers that on your own device (in local storage) so the notice doesn’t come back. That note is never sent to us.
The companies that help run this site
Like every website, ours needs a host. These companies process limited technical information, such as your IP address and the pages or videos you request, so the site can work and stay secure:
- Vercel hosts the website and delivers the contact form to us.
- Bunny.net streams our showreel and trailer videos.
They act on our behalf and may process data outside the European Economic Area, protected by the safeguards GDPR requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Our Instagram and LinkedIn links take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@spotonproductions.ie and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
